Hello DEX,

I just found a bug in your great plugin with Y offset position that are added again in the hud with your version 2.02 in rpg maker mv 1.34

$gameSystem.gauge("fishing2").background("DefaultBackground",0,100).foreground("FishingIcon", 0,100);

Each time I trigger the fishing, the hud add another 100 pixel in Y and dont reset the position.

Is it something to tweak on your plugin or the parameter that I enter are bad?

Because what I want is to lower the hud about 100 pixel to the bottom.

Thanks for your help! :)

@aredhone if you need help, download the demo files,
create a new project and put those files in it.

than play the demo, you might want to look in its params and events
if they are setted up to get a more in depth idea how it works.

many learn from this way, but also be carefull if you use it in your own for compability issues.
so make a backup to be save (specially if you far in your project) and you might want to
switch the plugin up and down if you get problems with other plugins.

i downloaded the demo, it's actually great.. but how do you make the event move? i'm trying to mimic the fishing mini game from breath of fire IV where the fish moves away then while you keep pressing the fish will move towards the player. I tried using the script
$gameSystem.gauge("fishing").isMoving(); and $gameSystem.gauge("fishing").isDead();
But the event cannot move when the gauge action is active.

Hello I am trying to use this gauge for timer for restaurant minigame. How can I interrupt the gauge bar before it's finished? The gauge bar is supposed to be the customer's patience.

Got an error that only happens when saving or trying to load a save file after using the Gauge mini-game system. Plugins are in order, nice and tidy.

Any date you plan on fixing this bug? It's an amazing plugin fyi and I definitely prefer its simplicity over GALV's, no offense.

@Nectar it doesn't seems the error from DEX, but another: "EquipCommonEvents"
whatever that do, and cannot say about the "name" of undefined.

to narrow it down better, can you screenshot your database + event used
for your minigame?

Procrafty updated the plugin to take care of this save corruption issue. I just think they forgot to update the version in their original post. Check below for the quoted plugin file update. Replace it with your current version and everything should be fine.

Now that is something i did not do when testing. Saving the game. :)

I've updated the plugin file to fix this issue. I never thought the whole $gameSystem variable is actually being saved so I transferred all gauge objects to $gameTemp where i think is more appropriate!

Thank you for reporting this issue. Keep them coming to make the system more stable

Thank you @procraftynation for having a fix for this issue. It took me forever to figure out what was causing my corruption and I'm glad you fixed it. Much appreciated :D
