Hello RPG Maker Community, recently I've found myself with some questions, questions that are extremely simple and that don't necessarily need their own thread. I felt the need to start this thread after noticing that on occasion some people (myself included), ask questions in their status updates, when really they shouldn't be within their status updates. So I did some poking around and after a misunderstanding I learned that their was already a thread similar to this one but it was for Ruby/RGSSx questions, which did me no good since I was looking for somewhere to ask general questions.
So I thought to basically make a parody to that thread, except for General RPG Maker Questions, feel free to ask any questions that you feel doesn't need its own thread, obviously if its a Ruby/RGSSx question I recommend you visit the topic Mr. Bubble made: here
If this is in the wrong location, I wish to know and ask that this be moved to the correct location, I will edit this out once I receive confirmation that this has been moved to the right location or is already in the right location. Thank you.

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
one bad plugin combo later and one of my followers is moonwalking off the screen on his own... I didn't even more yet on the new map lol.
