Generator items not showing up

Hey everyone,

So I recently downloaded a bunch of generator items, and after a while they stopped "showing up" on the preview. I went ahead and completely deleted the "Generator" folder (and forgot to make a copy which was a HUGE mistake) and reinstalled the program. I added the files again, in their respective folders I think, and now none of them work.

The items appear in the actual "Generator" but not in the preview. Some items don't even do what they are supposed to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

parts used in the generator require specific names and specific pictures in different folders, and one wrong name or file can prevent the generator from reading any file.


Please search around the forum, there are several tutorials explaining how to add parts to the generator. You have to follow those tutorials step by step to add parts correctly.

I understand how it works, I put everything in their proper folders with their proper names and it still doesn't work. The photo I added in my original post showed the item in the generator, and even selected, but it didn't change anything. Everything is named properly, so I do not understand why it all of a sudden stopped working.

Make sure the Item number is correct, and follows the order of items in your folder.

to better understand, an issue I had.

I had already 5 glasses items, I imported one new item which followed the correct naming convention, but whose order number was 08. it would not display until I renamed it with 06 instead of 08.

hope it makes sense.

Bingo! That's what it was. A simple oversight.

That did not help me. I renamed the new glasses item 06 instead of 07 and it still isn't being displayed. I even went back and renamed all the corresponding image files. Nothing! What else could be going wrong?
