Getting an error I don't feel I should be getting.

Eh? It's me again!
(I know I said I'd stop, but there I go doing it again. It's because of Kaos from the Skylander franchise. Sometimes he makes this funny "Eh" noise. My favorite times he does this are during the quotes "Eh? It's me again! Your ruler? Before you go marching off into Skylands, crushing ALL who stand in our way, I have a few decrees" and "Ehhh, say Glumshanks, you look different somehow. I don't know, less evil.")

...Anyway...


In the game, there's this feature that if a character uses a gem, they turn into a superpowerful version of themselves, but all other party members disappear. In addition, one character has a move where he grows an elephant trunk that acts as an ally. ...But every time the game tries to add it, I get that error. Above is a picture of the error and the event code.

Well... I can't see the Animation Command in the event script. Plus, it adds character just to remove it right away... I didn't got this. :/

Well actually it's two different characters with the same name.

Even so... This animation warning doesn't fit anywhere in the script. Isn't there anything missing? Like, a battle animation source coming from elsewhere?

I tried filling in the unmade trunk sprite slots with the standard idle animation, but that didn't fix it either, and all the other character sprites seem to be there, too.

I figured out the problem.

The original Toasty has a cursed weapon called Thump Attack that's supposed to make him look like he's butt-dropping onto his opponent, which I forgot to unequip and incompatiblize for the trunked version of Toasty's Genuis form, but was already incompatible with regular Genius Toasty. Since the Thump Attack had a special animation that Genius T. Trunked Version was not compatible with, that was where the conflict was.

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
one bad plugin combo later and one of my followers is moonwalking off the screen on his own... I didn't even more yet on the new map lol.
