Just a short post here.

I haven't used RPG Maker in a long time(I own XP, VX, and Ace), and I'm trying to get back into it, I'm using Ace and I was wondering if anyone had some tips for getting back into the swing of using rpg maker. I'm not asking for beginner tutorials, but just tips and tricks, suggestions on what to do.

Just browse the events you have made, the more complex they are, the faster you'll beable to get back into things, because once you remember how the complex events worked, anything that is easier to pull off, is a non-issue.

Also if you already have a ton of story line written up, you should reread it, as it will help you figure out/think of what needs to be done next.

Explore! Have fun. Play with resources. Make random events. Come up with a short project. The most fun I've had with rpg maker is getting an idea and running with it. Want to do something specific but can't rember how? Then, come back to the forums and look for a tutorial. Anyway, have fun and welcome back to the RM frenzy.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
How many parameters is 'too many'??
