I've been looking around and extensively researching this, but I haven't seen what I've been looking for, so I'll just ask. I'm looking to implement a middleman currency, if you will, for battles, since I don't think most enemies would have money on them. This would then be convertible into the game's currency. But I'm trying to figure out how to get the enemies to drop more than 3 of it, and make the amount somewhat random. Is there a way to do this? I apologize if I'm not explaining this right.

there are several scripts on the master script list that allow you to modify what an enemy drops with options beyond the regular item slots.

I don't know which options are in which of those scripts, but the Master Script list would be the place to start looking for a solution.

Why not use items that can be converted to money. There are some scripts out there that allow you to drop more than the default items. And each monster race could drop different monetary currency if you like.

Maybe something like gemstones which convert to more than just a couple of 'gold'? Like, say, a monster drops 3 diamond chips which equal about 100 Gold, or 2 sapphire shards which are worth 10 Gold each, sort of thing.

As Andar wrote; the scripts already exist.

I've seen some that could have more than 10 drops for an enemy.

Tbank you for the help. Where would I find this list?

Actually that wouldn't be a bad idea. Though, to be honest, I'm just trying to keep it simple and keep it as one thing, considering the other things I was planning on doing, so I wouldn't have to make a lot of convertible items.

That's quite a lot. I should be able to find one that fits my needs then.

Go to the starting point topic linked in my signature - the link to the master script list is somewhere inside that topic, amoung a lot of other tips.
