Skyrim and Civ 1.
I loved Skyrim and dropped about 600 total hours into that game and completed all the content it had. Getting it again on the Xbox One was just a good reason to make a new character and do it all over again.
Civ 1... Eh, I just really really like the art style of this Civ game. I don't know why, I just really like the whole, "You're playing a Board Game" type style of it. Kind of wish more of those games took on that look, 'cause it's really kind of cool to me.
Oh, I guess I've been playing Mass Effect 1 again. I recently joined the EA Origin Access thing or whatever it is... where for $5 a month, I can basically get access to some really awesome games. Like... all the Dragon Age and Mass Effect games (DLC must be bought separately, however). But, I started playing Mass Effect 1 on the computer and can now understand why people had issues controlling the Mako. Basically, it's controls really aren't designed for a mouse and keyboard. Then again, aiming Sniper Rifles in the PC version sucks as well. I could keep that drift down pretty well with my joystick. It's too difficult to do with a mouse. It's made me understand why a lot of shooters have adopted this "Sniper Rifles rarely ever drift" feature when they're also on PC's. Basically, it's because it's very difficult to correct for constant drift with a mouse... so they have to dumb it down enough that it's a non-issue. By "drift" I mean the back and forth sway as well as the up and down sway that happens within a set radius of where you're aiming and it's relatively random so it's not just some pattern you can acclimate to. I can see why Mass Effect 2 dumbed down sniper rifles now to the point that they're pinpoint accurate from the word "go". Just too difficult to correct for the drift on PC. Whereas, if you have a controller... a minor thumbstick movement corrects it easily.
A few months ago, I was playing Dragon Age Origins again. I got all the achievements for each starting story and... that was all I did. I always forget how much I hate the Ostigar stuff. Rest of the game is great. Ostigar is a terrible opening to a game.
