It's like the 1989 movie I loved so much as a kid, Robot Jox.
I agree with what the Japanese said in their response video that the Americans need to make their robot look cooler and not just make this big thing and strap guns to it. Hopefully the end design will look cooler, but I have a feeling that the American robot will be 'tougher', and almost certainly heavier which will give it an advantage in melee (which is what the Japanese want, melee combat), but the Japanese one looks far more sleek and perhaps agile. Very interesting times indeed.
