So, this is most likely very obvious, but, how to you give a state to a weapon?
Like, for example:
You get a sword that does a bunch of damage, but if you equip it, you get poison instantly, and it can't be removed

or something like that.
Basically, I need to know how to add status effects to weapons (Without scripts)

you can't - you'll either need a script, or you need a parallel process checking the equipment (which would create a lot of lag)

however, from your description you don't want a state, because the state would be able to be removed (by death if nothing else).
Instead, what you want to do is to give the weapon the features of the state directly - negative regeneration feature in case of poison.
If you do that the effect will always be there.

However, regular poison could be added to the weapon poison effect, to prevent that you would have to give the weapon immunity to regular poison, and in neither case you could get the state icon to display.

So you either need to use a script or use a workaround that has some sideeffects.

Thanks for the info!
I used additional Ability Value, and it did exactly what I needed it to do!
Thanks!

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
