Hi everyone,
I was expecting IGMC to arrive early this month, but it looks like I've got to wait a little bit longer... no bother.
That said, I'm itching to make a game, but I don't want to work on my older projects (got a little bit tiring to be honest and out of control at the same time... no longer something one person like me can make with the time I have) and I'm saving my epic idea for IGMC. I will continue with it no matter what happens during the contest and if the twist will not let me use it i'll just work on it instead.
Anyway, back on topic. To stretch my creative muscles and get back into RM when waiting, I came up with this idea: everyone, feel free to post a random idea / concept / world design snippet, anything really. Then I will randomly pick 3 - 5 out of them (depends on the number of comments I get) and make a game based on that in about 6 days, that is until the end of the week.
Should be both fun and good practice before the contest starts. The game's bound to be quite insane though, but that's the fun part. From giant octopus islands to evil communist robots and transgender culture, anything goes.

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
one bad plugin combo later and one of my followers is moonwalking off the screen on his own... I didn't even more yet on the new map lol.
