Giving credit where credit is due

I'm trying to credit the creator of these "footwear_character objects_2" for my game, because i have lost their names. And I'm not even sure I can use them for my game. I don't think I can post the pic due to forum rules. So if anyone has any info can you please let me know. Thanks.

Its a bit of a predicament. A catch 22 if you will.


I would say, put a watermark so no-one can actually use it, then it should be ok, as long as you take it down asap. Then you aren't re-distubuting, simply showing right? Correct me if I'm wrong but that seems like the right thing to do.

Is it a paid resource?  If it was free you could probably post it if you're just looking for the creator's name.


You can also try a reverse google image search.

I don't know how to do a watermark. No, it was free to use.Just don't know if it was free to use for commercial use. I tried the google image and had no luck.

Then open it in ms paint and scribble all over it, so it's un-usable! Then post it. It works almost as well as a watermark. REMEMBER TO MAKE A COPY.
