I have a little question. Can I edit DLC that costs money, then make a thread for it on the forums, but not distribute it freely - instead, tell people that if they want it, they should PM me with proof of purchase? Is that legal?

Depends on how T&C cover edit and sharing.

No you can't.

As an example, here is something from the EULA of Ancient Dungeons.
Do not sell, distribute, lease, or transfer the Resource Pack itself (even if the materials were edited, processed, or modified by the User).
Notice that "distribute" prohibition, also the bit about even if edited. So doing edits and sharing them with others is not allowed, as it is a form of distributing.

Then there is the section which reads
Solely used for the creation of your game, you can edit, process, and modify the materials contained in the Resource Pack.
So you can only edit the resource for your own game. That prohibits you editing it for anyone else's game.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
How many parameters is 'too many'??
