Introduction :


This plugin brings back battle transitions from rpg maker xp/vx, but with a lot more features/flexibility!

Features :

  • Use battle transitions similar to rpg maker xp/vx.
  • Use the same type of transitions for pictures, battlers, events, and more.
  • Colorize the transition effect to suit your needs.
  • Generate your own transition patterns by creating your own noise masks.

★ Added transition effect for "Normal Collapse" for enemies.
★ Added transition effect for "Boss Collapse" for enemies.


Added an override for collapse effects( normal, and boss only ), you can specify a transition effect for both collapse types! This was requested by someone, but I don't remember who. :x

I could never get the MOG version to work in 1.6 among others (probably because time and differences) and this actually does it for me. My only question is if there's a way to mod this so that different transitions can be used in different situations? (I tried going through the code myself to do this and it only ever loads one battle transition pattern, and I was wondering if some kind of situational battle transition could be made for this.) And I don't mean the collapse animations - rather, I'm intent on a boss battle transition (like in the Earthbound/Mother series for one immediate example that I can name).
