Hi guys, new on here and new to RMMZ. Have been working on making some SV enemies to create a library for myself and thought I'd share my version of a skeleton for anyone looking to have animated skeleton minions or enemies.

Here's the skeleton:

Also, I was hoping anyone could help me with info on what the limit of the sprites are. If I'm looking to make larger enemies, does that mean they have a lower count of animations possible since they have to fit on the same size sheet as the small sv actors? Or do I make the images small and then I can resize them in the battler in RMMZ?

I'm adding some more variations of the skeleton, specifically with red eyes and a variant with red eyes which have a bit of a glint animation going on. I'll probably add more in the future.

With regards to Terms of Use, I'm happy for anyone to use them really, credit me if you feel like it, just don't pawn them off as your own. I don't need any game copies, but would be happy to see some screenshots or videos of them in some scenes.

I've got another monster/enemy to add. This one being a zombie, undead type character. Got an arrow through the head and a missing arm with a protruding bone. The bone arm can pose an issue when the character has weapons equipped, so wouldn't suggest giving this one any weildable items.

I'll probably expand this thread to incorporate more enemies I create, let me know what you think.

Also considering doing a version of the zombie where the arrow moves around a bit.

I am SO going to use these, as I have a sorceress character who will dabble in necromancy. I just gotta figure out how to summon them into battle. And I will totally credit you guys (writing down your usernames now)

Without specialised plugin (vanila RPG maker MV/MZ) you might use bigger SV battlers. There are few rules.
1. 6 lines of sprites
2. 9 rows of sprites
3. 3 sprites per animation.
4. Every sprite must be same size.
Every 3 images animation set has exact use - description bellow.

Here you can get an idea.

Here is example: my simple animation of huge wolf.

Its definelty an old thread, but would the skeletons happen to be free for commercial use?

Go ahead, happy for them to be used. Would appreciate a credit and if you'd have any scenes or screenshots when they're in the game to share, then I'd love to see them.

Did you draw the face and bones yourself? They look very nice.

Is it cool if I post an edit? I frankened up a Death Knight/Dread Knight.

Yeah, I used the character sheets for the stock characters as a template for sizing and ratios but drew these characters by myself.

If you want to add more animated SV battlers in here then by all means, although maybe make sure you clearly state it as your work since I titled the thread for my work.

I frankened them with a generator sprite to make a death knight/dread knight.

First, these are very awesome! Thanks for sharing these!

Second, I am very new so please forgive me if the answer to this question is obvious, but because all of these SV battlers are left facing, they are sv_actors, right? Meaning they are on the hero/party side of the battle.

If you want to use these for enemies (sv_enemies) you would have to load them into an editor and reverse the images to face the right, correct?

I think that is right, but I just want to double check with people who probably know more.

The plugin I uses reverses the enemies automatically.

Ah, that is good to know. I haven't explored and experimented with any plugins yet. Still learning the default engine!

In the meantime, I think I can do it manually, but I will definitely look for plugins soon. Thanks!

@GnasherKO , your skeletons are absolutely awesome!!! I will definitely be using them and will credit you. Do you have the walking animation for these skeletons? I would really like to use them on the map.

With everyone's blessing that's contributed and will continue here: I would love to use some(if not all) of these sprites for a summoned class for my game. They're right up my alley

Happy Memorial Day to those on here like me who live in the United States. :)
Alright got a video of a review of a fake PS5 here. I've decided I'm only going to do maybe 10 videos about bootleg consoles, and then I think I'm going to move on, and post YouTube videos of old video game TV advertisements for franchises like Mario and Sonic and Spyro and all that for a little nostalgia. :cool:

Two solid days and I still have four slots left in my custom A2 tilesheet I am drawing.
