I'm not sure if anyone here is familiar with the game but "character capturing" aside, its battle mechanics are extremely fun. https://youtu.be/ZPSBsCtMcpE?t=56s for an example.


It plays sort of like an ATB, although there are magical powers each character could use, just having the singular ability of "attack" is enough and what makes it as fun as it is (simplicity). When the bar is full on a character, you swap it into the front so it can attack, before swapping it to the back again and its kind of a frantic race swapping characters in and out to get as many attacks in as possible. It could be a great match for RPG Maker MV.


Such a plug-in would be great, haha!

Nope. Just some form of ATB that would automatically initiate a default attack action provided the party character's time bar has been filled and their first in line. Something of the sort, anyway. Seeing some of the crazy battle plugins and developments (particularly by Moghunter) made me wonder if such a system was possible, whether or not it was integrated directly into the current battle system or by some other totally custom means.


The stilted systems of the current battle system is a little to archaic and figured this would provide a nice balance between those who dislike traditional JRPG battle systems and those who aren't keen on a full action battle system, a la Zelda. Maybe one is currently in development?


I did come across the ITB but without any screenshots or videos to demonstrate it, I wasn't sure if that fit the bill.

so hopefully tomorrow i get to go home from the hospital i've been here for 5 days already and it's driving me mad. I miss my family like crazy but at least I get to use my own toiletries and my own clothes. My mom is coming to visit soon i can't wait to see her cause i miss her the most. :kaojoy:

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
