Good action/real time battle system?

After trying out Sapphire Action System IV, Falcao Pearl ABS Liquid and XAS Action Battle System, I need a more simple one. Even though Sapphire Action System IV is as simple as a battle system script can get, it lacked a lot of features, such as bows. Also, I didn't really like the HUD, even though I changed it. So if anyone knows or can make one, it would be awesome for my upcoming project. Thanks in advance.

Scripting an entire new ABS is about the most difficult work possible in RM.


Your chances of getting such a script made for free are really low.


But unless you give more infos those chances are absolutely zero - please give a list of the features you want in an ABS, so that people can look which of those features are available in the existing ABS-scripts (and the three you listed are the only ones used in this english community, but perhaps someone can point to another ABS in a different language).


And then you best hope is that someone can modify one of the existing scripts to include the requested features, because writing one from scratch will take months of work.

Yes, I am very aware of that.

I would like Sapphire system to be modified, since it is so easy to use.

What makes you say that?

 writing one from scratch will take months of work.
This is true, I started my ABS on 29 March 2o13 and I still havent finished it. To be fair, I have written (and finished) around 40 scripts since I started the ABS...

IMHO, the hardest part of making an ABS is deciding on and working on AI and Skill usage set-ups... and yeah it does take a lot of time... though I might even personally prefer doing it than modifying the existing battle system...

I would like Sapphire system to be modified, since it is so easy to use.
Please tell us exactly what you need to be modified...

IMHO, the hardest part of making an ABS is deciding on and working on AI and Skill usage set-ups... and yeah it does take a lot of time... though I might even personally prefer doing it than modifying the existing battle system...

1. Be able to use bows as weapons, insteadof using them as skills.

2. Better hud.

Thats pretty much it. Shouldnt take too

long to modify. Since skills in Sapphire

are ranged, you could just take that and

modify it into the weapons. And for the

HUD... thats pretty self explanatory,

and shouldnt take too too long to do.

I can provide with the actual picture though.

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
