Hallo Everyone,

I am doing a game about a specific region in real life. It would be important that the map is proportional to the actual map of the region. The idea is to put the foto of the google map I have created as a parallax background.
The problem is that if I do so, the system puts the images next to each other multiple times and not one time stretched. How can I make the parallax background stretch instead of being there 16times?
Sorry for the noob question.

Thank you,
Ivan

That's because your picture for parallax is too small. It won't stretch.

Take the size of your map in tiles (eg 20*15) and multiply each by 48 (Eg 960*720) that will be the dimension in pixels your picture needs to be.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
