A big thanks to Avery for so many great links!

A brief message about how I have annotated the links:

In order to help you browse through this list and have a hope of finding what you want without having to check every single site, I have made a few annotations regarding each icon list. Some lists (like Avery's) are so comprehensive there is just no way to describe their content, so I try and give you an idea that there are boatloads, and send you to browse and download. =] However, with 65-75 links and probably well over 5,000 icons to browse, there is just no way I can mention each icon or even every category; I just try and give a stab at a main theme or a few highlights. Hopefully, sometime you can take a rainy day to icon hunt and find all the treasures hidden inside.

But please don't be mislead into thinking that my annotation is ALL there is on those links.

Please let me know if any links are broken.

You are very kind and always very helpful as well! I will get these assimilated (hah! I feel like the BORG!)

these are some of the challenges I constantly face, though...

I call one like Apapapan cuz I get that out of Google Translate for years and then everyone else is calling it Apostleheart after the site which is fine, but all my old materials can't catch up... So I post it under both.

And many Japanese sites, I have noticed, use phonetic translations rather than correctly spelled ones to try to say things in English script. So FenixEgg is the phonetic sound of PhoenixEgg, which is what I call it. (A feww other sites are like that.)

Plus I love the Bougavillea site but it is so hard to direct ppl to the right spot...

I guess I need to add Japanese characters to my computer some day...

And the constant challenge of organizing my little section of the internet goes on....

/me looks daggers at the FSM beasts who deep sixed all my plans for the summer... grrr!

Well, Apapapan is the author's name. So you're not at fault for using that, granny :)

It's sad when they translate it incorrectly. (I cry every time I see Little Red Riding Food.) So yeah, FenixEgg is supposed to be Phoenix's Egg (the author's username). The site's name is Phoenix's Dwelling.

And Nekomoo's site's name is actually Demon Cat's Tin.

*salutes you and Avery for your hard work and leaves again*

When I used the link that Avery posted just above to this site  http://oho4sama.hitotu.jp/frame.html  I got complete jibberish.   Here is an example

This happens to me with tons of foreign sites... I really don't know why.

I don't see those characters; I see the proper Japanese symbols. Albeit, I've also got a good Japanese-characters font on my system from installing a Visual Novel from another site; it's likely if you're seeing odd extended-character-set symbols instead of the Japanese, you may need to look for a Japanese font or two, and also check in your browser settings.
For me, that link shows correctly Japanese. In Microsoft Internet Explorer 11.0, the page encoding automatically selected "Japanese (JIS)" upon being loaded. Try looking in the browser menu just a little.

Avery, do icons have crossover problems? IOW, if icons were from the XP RTP are they not available to VX/Ace (only) users?

If so, I am gonna have to start tracking this.

I have a question, does anyone know Whitecat's terms of use? THIS is what google translate tells me.

From what I infer, he/she allows the use of the material on commercial and adult themed projects as well as modification, but disallows secondary distribution. Oh, and I don't see it anywhere but I guess the credits are for "Whitecat"? I don't see his/her name anywhere.

Translated terms of use by our own Slimmeiske are posted here for that site:
