    You can use this as visual equipment (or even visual class) system although the sprite change will be as a whole body (entire sprite) of a battler rather than individual separate parts.

    See, that's what I had done before. I used a common event to make the sprites change, and covered the change with an animation. But what's happening here is the notetag causes the change before the animation even plays. How did you get the action sequence to work with the tag?

    This is what I did when I use Yanfly's Action Sequence:

    <target action>action animationwait: 12action effect: targetwait for animation</target action>The "wait: 12" there is the did the timing, depending on the animation I used.

    Hello everyone!

    First, thanks to the author for making the plugin!

    I just have a question: what do you mean by index? For instance, say I want my #1 actor to change to face "light_armor.png" when equipping a light armor.

    The notetag would be : <1, light_armor, ???> → I don't know what to replace the ??? with, and what it would correspond to.

    Same for battler: <"# of the actor", "battler name", ???>.

    But the that's for the skill, isn't it? If the notetag is in the state it doesn't work that way.

    [Edit] Okay, nevermind. I just had to move my action effect down. xD

    The index is the position of the graphic/sprite you want to use. The index starts from 0 in the upper left then to the right. I can't post a sample image since I have slow internet now but this is how the index works.

    0 1 2 34 5 6 7Let's say in the MV's default Actor1.png, Harold's index in the file used is 0 while Therese is 7.

    Put "action effect: target" to apply the tagged state.

    The plugin for changing appearance doesn't seem to work when set for equipment, it only seems to work if it's a stat and I cast an ability?

    Based on my post (see notes)

    If you have both the equipment and the state that will change appearance, the state takes priority. But once the state that changes the appearance removes, the appearance change on the equipment will be occurred.

    Below is how i entered it. When input the same way in stat, it works just fine. When inputted in weapon the sv battle graphic will change only in battle test sv. Once I try to play the game in test, it does not work after I put on the equiptment, but if I cast the spell needed that gives the stat to change appearance it works.

    Did you try to equip it without any states? If it's still not working, maybe there are some incompatibilities with some of your plugins or maybe misplaced.

    It's maybe the cause of some of the plugins you used. I tried it using with Yanfly Engine, WeaponSkill, and ChangeWeaponOnBattle and all of them works fine. What plugins did you use?

    i use elly's ATB pluging but i don't think that is the problem because i've turned it off and it still doesn't work. I also use enemy side view animation plugin, but i don't believe that is the problem since the equipment change character plugin works during "test battles" but once I start the game it does not work..

    Can you list all non-Yanfly plugins you used so that I can find the problem? But for the meantime, place my plugin to the bottom most part of the plugin manager.

    Yes. It can be used to those but take note on the priority of the states since the highest priority state that will also change battler will take priority first.

    • v1.2.1: Will now load all possible sideview battler changes at the start of the battle to remove the blinking bug.
    • v1.2.0: Now enemies can be change their battler images.

    Hey, I like your plugin. But I had the same problem Sol Rising had. Graphics didn't change when I used the equipment tags (only equipment, no other).

    After testing I found out that Yanfly's ItemCore seems to be the problem. Without it everything works fine.

    Thought you might want to know.

    So that explains the bug. I tested Equip Core instead to fix the problem since it involves the equipment itself. Thanks for letting me know. I'm going to fix this right away.

    EDIT: It's confirmed that this plugin is not compatible with Yanfly's Item Core only. All other plugins from him are so far compatible. I still can't find the bug in Yanfly's plugin. I'll update this as soon as I can find the problem. But for now, don't use item core if you want to use this plugin for equipment purposes since it may take a while.

    EDIT 2:

    Update

    • v1.2.2: Now compatible with Yanfly Item Core.
    I guess, taking a bath really helps me fix the bug. :rswt:
