Awesome. Everything seems to be working fine now. Great work.
I can't get it to work for changing SV Battlers. Are you supposed to use a full sized SV Battler spritesheet or just 3 sprites for a state change? And when you set a filename in the notetag, do you include the extention? (.png). Because no matter what I tried, I couldn't get it to work.
Remove spaces, parentheses, and file extensions to the filename and if that is the exact filename of the image, change it too to only has letters, numbers, and underscores.
Your plugin is great, I'm loving it!
I wanted to report something, tho..
Yanfly just released a new plugin, "Party System", which is conflicting with yours for some reason.
Could you please take a look at it? It would be great to have them both working together.
Yes as mentioned can you please make your plugin compatible with Yanfly's Party System when you get a chance, I really need to be able to use both your plugins
Hey man, love your script, was exactly what I was looking for, unfortunatly it causes a max call size exceeded error when used with yanfly's new party system. if either is turned off the game runs fine so I'm led to believe its the two clashing. and chance for a compatibility update to include this new plugin?
hi, ive been testing out the plugin for my transformations involving a state and for some reason only actor 1 is affected by this plugin, the other actors are not
i have 4 separate skills, each doing the same thing but for a specific actor
for example skill 1 adds [state] which would change actor 1's side battle sprite
while skill 2 [state] would change actor 2's battle sprite and so on
however i can never get the other 3 to work. ive been using this
<sve: 1, rukaSS>
changing the number depending on the actor's number and the name depending on the graphic used.
is there something im doing wrong? kinda stumped here.
Edit: Nvm the problem seems to fix itself after rebooting MV oddly
Sorry for the late replies because I made too many fixes in my game.
As for the compatibility with Yanfly's Party System, I tried to use it just yesterday with this plugin but it seems fine. I'll try to look at it regardless maybe I missed some tests to look at.
thank you!! this plugin is what i've searched for.. unfortunately this plugin seems like incompatible with yanfly's "party system" plugin.. it causes max call stack range error.. D:
any solution for this ?
I found this error too.
Is there any solution? Are you going to update the plugin for this too?
EDIT: Nevermind, figured out how to make this work. On the other hand, I also found out that this is not compatible with the Iavra Gif plugin:
When you try to load an image animated with Ivara Gif, it crashes the game with a message saying "failed to load: Undefined"
hopefully he'll be back after the holidays to patch
I was also using this plugin until Yanfly's party engine was released.
I built my own plugin to get around the incompatibility until either this plugin is updated or Yanfly releases his state/buff core.
Basically you add the linked plugin and then create a common event to change the sprite and a separate common event to switch the sprite back to normal. You then add notetags to the state to call the common events when the state is added and removed. Not quite as convenient as this one, but it will do the trick until the original author updates.
First of all thank you very much for this plugin. It's fantastic!
I'm wondering if it's possible to change sprite, battler, etc, both on weapon and armor. When actor 1 has equipped weapon 1, the sprite will change to sprite file 1, for example, and when actor has equipped armor 1, I want the sprite be displayed with both weapon 1 and armor 1 on. That means the weapon/armor sprite graphic would be only a part which can added to the basic sprite.
Well, while writing the reply, I noticed what I suggest will be too complicated. Because there are many weapon/armor type.
I'm not sure if I made my point clearly LOL. Just a suggestion which might be interesting.
Since they is no update for very long time, I decides to post my minimal & Quick fixed version of this plugin.

v1.2.2n is removed both class and state option, keeping only equipment one available.
Because both of that option has a conflict with Yanfly's party. With their removal, you can now use this plugin with Yanfly's party.
For the State, I suggest :
Test and work with both this plugin & Yanfly's party. For Class Option : YEP.32 – Class Change Core should be able to help.
I am not sure is this a bug.
1:A char face assigned by class.
2:Add a state by use item in menu.
3:the face on menu will disappear after use the item.
4:work well if re-open the menu.
checked even if no step 1.
add a state by item in menu will make the face disappear.
This plugin looks like its perfect for what I need, but for some reason whenever I try to test the game with it enabled. I get this message as soon as I hit New Game:
RangeError: Maximum call stack size exceeded
Any way to fix this?
Are you using Yanfly's Party System plugin by any chance? Because if you are, there's a incompatibility with those 2 plugins. Disabling the Party System would fix it.
thanks that fixed it, but maybe I'm using this plugin wrong or I'm having another issue.
If you use this plugin for equipment will it overlay whatever peice of armor i'm wearing over the player sprite or completely change it? because I put individual clothing pieces on a character sheet with a transparent background hoping it would just place it over the original player sprite, but it just replaces it completely.
I'm assuming that's just how this plugin is meant to work or I'm having another issue.
I'm not familiar with that part of the plugin's functionality. I just use it to recolor the actors for my frozen & petrification states. Hopefully someone more familiar with those aspects can help you with that.
