Graphics glitch with event?

Hey guys! Not sure if i'm suppose to put this here, but

I made an event where the person picks up a note, but when they click the event the graphics changes to something else.

First file : Before turning the event on

Second file : After 

I've tried alot of things, but it just keeps changing the event graphics :/

In the event, click the box bottom left 'Direction Fix'

What is happening is that character graphics are automatically treated as if they are an NPC.  When you click on an NPC s/he turns towards you, and that's fine because there is a left/right/up/down graphic to match.  With a single item, however, when it turns, it becomes the graphic in the appropriate slot.  So if you have a cabbage in the grid left of your note and interact with the note from the left, it will become a cabbage.  Direction Fix stops that happening.
