Hello, beautiful people!


Well, although I signed up a couple of weeks ago, I only bought RPG Maker MV today so I figured it was only natural to introduce myself now.


My mum started calling me Michaël exactly 23 years ago, and I made it through life so far. I love playing the piano and writing about everything I can think of, and besides that I hang around with either my friends or my study books. I was born in Belgium and still live there (although I am currently writing this from Italy). I study economics, worship Game of Thrones, don't drink sodas as an excuse to drink more beer, smoke from time to time (only after having quit), and still blame myself for choosing basketball over football 15 years ago ~ Okay, this is probably too much information without being asked for anything.


I do have a confession to make, though: I've been enjoying VX Ace for quite some time in the past... illegally. I am not proud of it, but I guess back in those days I found it too expensive compared to the time I put into it (not an excuse - I know). I had a real blast with the trial of MV, and I felt too guilty about not having contributed in the past to this amazing studio and incredibly supportive and talented community. That's why my first step to redemption was buying the software.


From now on, I hope I can be an asset to this community. Feel free to ask me anything!

Welcome to the group!

As long as you now own a licensed copy of the software I don't think you'll have any problems here, but just in case it might be a good idea to have a copy of the receipt, or if you got it through Steam, a screenshot of the page for it in your Steam Library,just to prove you do now have a legal copy. Back when I was using the Lite version of VXAce I made a mod suspicious because of asking for resources and participating in group activities so it is better to have documentation just in case anything comes up.

Thanks for the advice! It won't be a problem at all if someone turns a suspicious eye to me; I'm armed with e-mails, account receipts and a product key that supposedly should work on Steam as well (but unfortunately I cannot open the Steam application in the college here).
