Last night I fixed my art asset issue so now I'm ready to import my character into my game!

I know I need a canvas size 576 x 384

The sprites have to be 64 x 64

Is there like a grid or program I can use to make this easier???

Im trying to line up the sprites by free hand and it is not going well!

Thank you in advance for all the help!

Download gimp (free).

Make a new file with the dimensions you want, transparent background.
View gridlines.
Configure gridlines to size you need (option in one of the menus)
Turn on snap to gridlines (I think it's in the view menu, but it might not be)

Actually you are wrong about your canvas size. If you are talking about a full sprite sheet with 8 characters on it, you will need it bigger if your sprites are each 64 x 64. The width will need to be 12 x 64 = 768. The height will need to be 8 x 64 = 512. If you want a sprite sheet with only one character on it, it will need to be a width of 192 (3 x 64) and a height of 256 (4 x 64), and you will need to put a $ at the beginning of the file name.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
