    Hello, makers. I'm here to share the script I've been editing for the last few months. It's an edit of DarkSchneider's Diablo Style Item Inventory. For those who don't know the original script, it was only a beta, so that made my job way harder, but I had a ton of fun making it.

    The script changes the actor inventory, using a grid system inspired on classic games such as Diablo, Resident Evil and Deus Ex. It allows you to set the size the item takes on the inventory using the item's name on the database. It follows the standard [#x#], where the first number is the width and the last number is the height.


    There is support for big icons, similar to said games, and there is also support for RPG Maker's own icons, you just have to change two configuration variables in the script. Besides, you can use/equip, move and drop items directly on the grid.

    The demo comes with a tutorial and commented events explaining how to check if the inventory is full or not before giving the player an item.

    Hi, I tried importing your script, but I get a:

    Script 'Grid Inventory' line 1455: TypeError occurred.

    no implicit conversion from nil to integer.

    I am using a vanilla project. I tried to open the demo project but I got an error saying that it was created using an older version and cannot be opened.

    Also, no big issue, but I noticed in the demo, when you scroll through items really fast to the (left only) there is some slight redraw issues where the item name popups.

    First it pops up in the center of the item and then moves it below. But this only happens when going to the left really fast.

    Hm Is it possible to have a small, little inventory hot bar grid, without going into menu? ;)

    I want to do something similar to mabinogi's inventory grid style how, can I mod this script?


    I got error line 1046 item  no method error.


    -->something to do with the item list.
