Grouping skills (field menu vs. battle commands)

Hi all—

I have been using yanfly's scripts. They are great! My question is regarding skill grouping and YEP Skill Core.

Basically, every character has 3 skill groups: Spells, Techniques, and Traits. I want them all to appear in the field menu when you go to the Abilities menu, each in their own separate section (Skill Core does this just fine.) Spells cost MP, Techniques cost TP, and Traits are just passive abilities.

However, in battle, I would like Spells and Techniques to be grouped together into one menu command called Abilities. I don't want Spells and Techniques to be in two separate menus during battle, and I don't want Traits to appear in battle at all. Is there any way to achieve this? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

You can use Yanfly's Equip Battle Skills for that. It will group all of the skill types into one single group.
