Another day, another drop!

Today, I am bringing to the community a classic monster straight from the early days of Dungeons and Dragons, and one that I have been dying to create for ages--the Gelatinous Cube!

For those not aware, the Gelatinous Cube is such a staple in D&D, that it has been said if a campaign does not feature the monster at least once, then the Dungeon Master is not doing their job XD That aside, one does not have to play D&D to appreciate the Gelatinous Cube. Would you simply like to expand the slime monsters for your game? Got you covered. The Gelatinous Cube is a dungeon-dwelling monster that consumes everything in its path, slowly devouring all matter, dead or alive, with its acidic body.

Note: The large sprite works best with Direction Fix ON, and moving at a slower speed. Gelatinous Cube's were never known for speed...

Combine the default Slime monster in the RTP with my Gelatinous Cube and Avery's Slime Bats, Slime Gazer and Oozes, and you have quite the monster arsenal for a slime-themed dungeon!

I friggin' love these! Great job!

Today I am dropping another Hine-inspired edit of @hiddenone lovely Hine Sprites. This time around, I have reindeer/caribou to share that is an edit of the Hine Horse and Donkey. It was created for a winter themed project I am working on and felt that I should share the edit with the community.

As always, if using these reindeer you MUST also follow Hiddenone's terms of use.

Well community, I'm due to have my third baby in just a few short weeks, so I thought what better time to do a nursery tileset than now? It's something I've been wanting to do for awhile so I finally gave it a shot today. It came out more Modern than I thought it would, but I can't complain. I went for a variety of bassinets in varying colors and with different blankets, diaper boxes by different companies (sealed, opened, half empty, and empty), matching rattan waste baskets (using the RTP SF waste basket), a taller 'odor-free' diaper disposal waste bin, an empty and full baby bottle, and of course, the high chairs.

A clever eye should be able to catch that these are all edits of the RTP with some quick editing.

The left side, if it wasn't obvious, became the more Modern Nursery set, while the right was the beginnings of a more Medieval tileset that did not take off as strongly as I thought it would.

Interested in using these for your game but need a baby sprite and/or looking for cribs? PandaMaru has all that over on her thread: Maru's MV Bits. I even found an alternate baby created by DreamingRach if PandaMaru's isn't cutting it for your interests.

@slimmmeiske2 -Thank you for saying the reindeer look majestic! I spent a lot of time editing Hiddenone's resources and using references to mimic their grandeur. Hopefully others using the Hine sprites will find them helpful too, if their projects lean more towards those climates.

You know @Finnuval, I was having the same thought while making the nursery set? It began with 'awww,' the community needs more things for babies, because there isn't much and those NPCs have families too! Then, as I made more pieces, I realized they would also be used in games that likely featured darker elements or were even horror based. Not that I'm complaining, if that's the game people want to make all the power to them. Resources are here.

A canopy? My first thought when I hear 'canopy' is for a bed. I feel I'm misunderstanding something?

kinda like these. Especially the round ones were relatively common in Victorian times in some parts of Europe :)

It's been awhile since I've posted anything on the forums, so I'm dropping some more modern tileset additions I had been piecing together that will, hopefully, add some extra personality to people's games. Got little kiddies running around? Need more items to really scream kids live at this house? Got you covered with three new bedset designs - two bunk beds and a car bed with variations in color. Bunk beds not enough for the kiddies? The bunk beds come with a slide! Also just in time for the hot days of summer, I've made a kiddie pool with two variations (fish and jungle design) and a round sandbox.

Also, @Finnuval - I haven't forgotten your request for a canopy for the baby crib. I still have plans to expand on the nursery tileset and that's on my list of things to add.

Hahahahah! Yes I suppose! Bouncing baby boy number three was born earlier this month, eleven days late. Out of my two older toddlers, he is by far the sweetest and easiest (my eldest was a very demanding newborn!)

In celebration of his birth I want to create more nursery tileset additions and modern children's pieces, like the bunkbeds and kiddie pool, for example. I'm not sure how long the new interest will carry on for, I feel the drive is more laid back and chill, as in, I don't expect I will be pushing out a complete tileset for it like I did for the Beehive, lol!

Today I'm turning out a small stash of Hine-Inspired sprites that I've been holding on to. First, I have a template of a floating female base edited from Hiddenone's base female character. Used it myself to create floating ghostly characters, if anyone is interested in that. The other two are a zombie based off of one of @Thalzon's undead battlers, and the last is one of my favorite. When I had made the mermaids earlier this year, I wanted something more unnerving, a mermaid that dragged itself across the ground but wasn't sure how to do that. I ended up stumbling upon the RTP SF_Monsters dlc that had a creepy girl dragging herself on the floor and voila! I was able to create the creepy mermaids I had wanted and am sharing with you today. It is a hybrid of the RTP and Hiddenone's sprites and custom editing.

As always, when using these Hine-inspired sprites please reference @Hiddenone's terms of service. For the creepy mermaid, credit must also be given to Kadokawa.

More Hine-inspired drops today! The theme today is Viking people/villagers and some viking inspired beards/hairs for the men. I spent quite a bit of time working on the outfits for my own project, designing them off of true-to-era clothes worn at that time. I'm not sure if these will make it into my final project design, so I thought I'd share. Hopefully others in the community will find these useful.

As always, if using these Hine-inspired Sprites, credit must be given to @hiddenone by following her terms of service.

@Mike-Turtle - Thank you for the wonderful compliment! It is so nice to hear that the Hine extras I've posted are finding love. I adore Hiddenone's Hine sprites and always was hoping for more of that style. So, by posting the extras I've made of her work, I'm hoping to expand that love.

Had to clean up disk space because Windows Updates was having my primaries' disk space for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I guess the clean up thingy doesn't work or something because there were 15gigs of old update files in it.
