how can I change the enemy battlers sprites into a completely different one? The only one I discovered was as long as that specified name of the image isn't changed it manages to determine the sprite.

if you found out how it works..... what's keeping you from replacing that instruction to your own criteria?

I want to make it to determine a whole new spriteset image from their enemy names on database ex: "$HolderZombieANIM_MINI" is the name of the spritesheet and "Zombie" the name from the database but I'm still have no idea how

I finally have figured out!!! But how can I apply it for the player? I really want a battle scene like from the fire emblem series

Edit: That means that I literally have to write a code for it but idk how plsss

Edit2: So I need to copy one certain line of code that does the same as the animation from the enemy that might work right? But where can I find this code I can barely read some but i can't find it

Sometimes a mechanic that is meant to add challenge is just annoying. Even the Final Fantasy games did not completely escape this pitfall of design. (FF8 draw system I'm looking at you - grrrr)
starting working on the sprites for one of my games major antagonists finally. here's the first frame of his chanting motion in battle.
Have spent too much time hammering out with a friend just how to make a reoccurring enemy that permanently learns skills you use against her.
I know what I want in a loose sense. Maybe I should just make a post asking for opinions and suggestions.
