Hair feathers

For story reasons, it's crucial that one of my female characters have feathers in her hair. I tried to create it myself but I got lost when it came to the sprite set.

Resource Type: Since this is a main character, I would preferably need a generator selection for a female hairstyle with feathers. While I would be happy with any hairstyle with feathers in it, the character has many childlike characteristics so I had initially tried to turn the in-game pigtail flowers into feathers. I'm not a great artist and it didn't work very well.

Maker Format: MV

Art Style: Similar to MV's art style if possible.

Description: This is a character that is obsessed with and collects all kinds of colored feathers. This is a fantasy world so there are no limitations on what color the feathers are, how big or small they are, etc, as long as they are recognizable as feathers. I would like 2 feathers at a minimum but more would be awesome. They can be braided into the hair, stuck behind the ear, stuck into a ponytail holder or pigtail holder but it can't be on a hat. This character doesn't have access to any clothing items (she is a slave) and is only able to put feathers into her hair without any special accessories.

Would you be able to give me her current faceset and sprites so can overlay and try things on it easier? I can try to make some although I have no guarantees as my drawing tablet is old and sometimes twitchy. So if you want I can do it, but don't let it exclude other people offering to do so too cause once again I may not be a sure thing

You can see from the face image what I tried to do and it worked on the battler to some extent, though for some reason the hair color change didn't take (she has blue hair). But the sprite is bald and I have no idea why. lol

Okke, So do you want straight up ready to use graphics or feather accessories to put in your generator so you can choose more colour variations and pair then with different hairs then export as many as you want?

Generator way is less work imo

Quick questions, Have you already added content into the generator? Will other characters also use feathers? (This is mainly because I might have to cut out some of the images around the elf ears so should I make regular ear versions) And lastly do you want to be dm'ed about the progress I make?

I have added other content to the generator but I have just enough understanding of how the generator works so that I won't accidentally erases anything. I don't believe any other characters will use feathers but if you're able to make it doable for both types of ears, just in case, that would be awesome. If it's too much trouble, though, then just the elf ears are fine. I have this thread watched so if you're posting it on here, you don't need to dm me or anything like. I'm using a filler sprite for now while I work on the game.

May I ask to use the feather you're creating in a commercial game?

I wouldn't mind but it's up to OP in my opinion, Anyways here are the generator files for flowerless pigtails. They're already re-named to assume nothing has been added to the generator so you may have to re-name them higher than the highest part number in the Variants folder within your RPG maker program files

Thank you! I think there might be something wrong with your upload file, though. I've tried to download and open it several times and I keep getting the following error message: Error opening the archive (check available disk space, that you have a valid password, or that the archive is not damaged or partial)

I know it's not my disk space, so I'm not sure what's up.

As to other people using this file, that's completely fine with me. I think it's up to you, Sir levee, since it is your design.
