Hallo community members! I'm Dragon hailing from the USA, and I have been in love with RP/Adventure/Puzzle and Simulation games since I was a little girl when my dad introduced me to Nintendo. Back in high school my friends and I talked about getting together and developing a game on RPG Maker XP! I asked where could I get it and my friend said I could 'borrow his copy' for the time being. Little did I know that he had pirated the program until I installed it - it was still half in Japanese! I quickly got rid of it (Well, I did have to play with it for at least an hour or two, guilty as charged), admonishing of his disrespect to the company. But because of that we fell apart (Learning of other things he pirated). I still wanted to actually get the official copy. However at the time, I couldn't convince my parents to let me buy online.
I let it go, while back letting my ideas slide away into oblivion. So now, I am equipped with my own credit card and wonderful Steam came along with their sale. I had no idea that they even sold the program and extra DLCs, thinking only games they sold. Hope anew, I got RPG Maker VX Ace, the newest one! I am excited to delve into it, and learn some scripting, and how to make my own tiles and sprites. I know I have the ability to jot plot down, and in a pinch I could write music - if I ever get my Cakewalk to work on my computer. (But that's a different kettle of fish altogether.) I will do my best not to pester folks with redundant questions.
My interests tend to go for the fantasy genre and my kid faves were Chrono Trigger, Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, Secret of Mana many others to the more recent like Assassin's Creed series, Skyrim and ESO. I hope I can create something as memorable as those games were to me even if its not something I would professionally sell or anything. I love to game and write, sometime I have thought about voice overs - and something I really want to implement into my RPG Game once I've decided on what I want to do.
Busy Dragon, is busy - I work retail, but hopefully not for too much longer. I plan on college for this spring with a bit of help from financial aid in between all the other things I do in my busy life! (Tabletop gaming, baking, crafting, painting and so on.)
