RPG Maker Forums
Hello everyone!
I just registered a few days ago after finding out how amazing RPG Maker is from a friend who has been using it forever (I even passed along the interest and got another friend his own copy so we would have a small team).
I'm somewhat of a newbie to RPG Maker but have been coding off and on for a long while (mostly C++ and Java and learned JavaScript pretty much for this). Hoping to bring that into my games once I get familiar with the plugins already available and what RPG Maker can already do... However, interactive story telling has always been my bigger passion.
Figured I should post something at some point instead of just quietly reading various topics on how to do things and what other people are doing.
I have to say, this community seems amazing and wonderful... So happy to be joining it, and I hope I can start contributing to it soon as well!

PS - feel free to send any helpful links via pm if you know any good resources for getting started with plugins (I've seen the template, function calls, etc on the forums, so I'm in a really good spot). I'm pretty much just reverse-engineering other people's plugins to get started, but I'm always open to more proper tips, tricks and best practices from the plugin community!

Hello! I would like to know if there are any pluggings or any way to customize how battles look?
I was thinking that when you start the battle for it to appear the eyes of your characters and opponents sorta like Ace Attorney.
Sadly I don't know how that would be possible so I would be needing help! If you can help me in any way I would really apreciate it!
