All right pro tips from some ol' geezer about what to do when your clicks don't clicks your mouse seems to turn wild in your screen or unresponsive.
I recommend manual maintenance, I have one with ball an old mouseman from Logitec. If you have long haired pets, please, clean your mouse pad, mouse ball, mouse wheels (If this is not enough, and you are under aged or it ain't just your computer, ask also someone to unscrew that over over it and clean as well the middle wheel button and the rest of the hairs around the other sensors). Else, I guess that mousepad and optical surface an be cleaned also as well as surface and batteries checked often.
And if you don't live in my part of Canada where it is rainy and warm

(Really folks it is supposed to be minus 20 now and we don't even have snow), remember that winter is also cold season so maybe once the computer turned off cleaning each and every of your keys on your keyboard. Remember to not unsocket the non-square keys because they have some metal part hard to pin back in place with the key over it. Gentle soap is good for the keys (Usually I do it one by one to not get a YRJGCKL keyboard instead of a QWERTY one! And no it isn't why you can see < instead of ' in many of my posts I have a French configuration also on my keyboard and it shows.) as for vacuum is good before removing the rest of hairs, facial diamonds, sewing needles, sunflower shells stuck around! You might also scrub that old soda snorted out that slid in there too if it still show!

I knew once an old Mac Intosh Clasic that had a worm between the keys and it was alive! (Yeah usually we don't think worms gets in there so imagine the bacterias and the flu virii!)
And... That was all and my way to contribute to your health and prosperity this year after I hope solving my problem of rogue mouse.
