What you typically fill them with? You need some kind of sauce to go with it or something and not just meat?

Just meat'll do, but maybe a few spices and some cheese too. Depends how your hungriness / laziness stats are looking. :)

Cheese, then Lettuce, then Sour Cream.

Glorified goodness.

I work at Taco Bell, too, so this is a well-known fact. But they put their cheese on after the lettuce and that's DEFINITELY not how it's supposed to be done.

Personally, i prefer soft tacos. But, yeah, spiced ground beef or chicken, then cheese--a blend of cheddar, asiago and monterey jack is best, I think--then lettuce on top of that.

Spiced ground beef, maybe some refried beans, lettuce, cheese, salsa, sour cream, and guacamole (or maybe just a slice of avocado).

Though I prefer soft shells, if I use them add tomato to all that.

Just made tacos last night, used chorizo instead of ground beef, was very good.

If I could eat burritos for every meal, I would. If all food were Mexican food or Tex Mex I would be perfectly happy.

Here is what I make at home. I take whatever meat I have on hard, cook it. Then I add chili power, cumin, salt, pepper, and garlic. Add yellow onion, jalapeno, green chilis, diced tomatoes, and corn. Cook it down. Squeeze a lime in. I prefer soft tacos myself. All about the burritos.

I put avocado, homemade salsa (this is another story), red onion, more jalapeno, another squeeze of lime, and cilantro on top. Mmmm. I would eat that morning, noon, and night.

So lettuce is a common ingredient with cheese and meat. That's the basics pretty much I suppose.

It needs cheese. Like, LOTS of cheese.

Also a good bit of sour cream and taco sauce goes well too.

Those store bought taco shells were so good with the stuff we ended up putting inside.

Oh? We're still gonna taco 'bout this?

I'm not too picky with tacos - Shredded cheese, Meat, Lettuce, Tomato at the least. If possible I'll toss in a slice of avocado with some sour cream. Otherwise, well, they're tacos. You can't really go wrong with tacos.

Sauce is essential to any taco. The more kick the better. Else it is too boring and plain.

Whoever doesn't prefer the cheese directly on the meat (for melting purposes) is probably a masochist. Aside from that essential part, everything else depends on how adventurous you want to be! Lettuce and tomato are pretty standard, but you can get pretty crazy with them.

(I also prefer soft-shell!)

Grilled chicken *secretly seared in Tabasco and lime juice, piled with cheddar and/or mozzarella is a current crowd favorite at my house. I'll usually add mushrooms and peppers to mine as well.

*it must be seared in secret, not everyone at my house appreciates Tabasco nor believes my assurances that the 'heat' has been cooked out already leaving the flavor. They're both content to gobble up said chicken in blissful ignorance however :)

I disagree about the hotsauce. Too much kick and you can't taste anything else. You don't want to overpower any one ingredient, otherwise there's no point in it being there. Even the tortillas should be noticed among the spices and cheeses and whatnot.

I guess its just that I like the hotsauce better than the taco itself lol.

True but that's precisely why you cook it directly into the meat. There certainly is a threshold where you can put to much in there but prepared correctly hotsauce can be served frequently and in varying ways to stubborn children deadset on hating it entirely.

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
