“HARRY HOUDEEN THE TEEN-AGE MAGICSHOW GUY” is a free short (15-30 minutes of playtime) video game I made in RPGMaker in 24 hours!!

“HHTT-AMSG” is based on an actual dream I had about Harry Houdeen (the teen-age magicshow guy), and it was created by stretching, skewing, and splicing the default assets of RPGMaker!!

Navigate through the wreckage of a cracked world as you learn about Harry Houdeen, The Teen-Age Magicshow Guy!! There are also Battlebuddies to befriend and collect... Can you find them all?? Will you and your new friends make it to the hallowed halls of the "HHTT-AMSG" Fanclub??

It’s likely about much more than Harry Houdeen... But it also likely isn’t!! And there’s only one way to find out!!

UPDATE! My game is so jarring it was rejected by rpgmaker.net!

The game I made in 24 hours in RPGMaker MV by distorting the default assets of the engine, “HARRY HOUDEEN THE TEEN-AGE MAGIC SHOW GUY” (based on a dream I had), was rejected from being uploaded on the RPGMaker.net page! The reason provided: “We’d rather that our members don’t die from epileptic shock via viewing images.”

What are the screenshots supposed to be? No offence intended but it looks like you just randomly threw colours at the screen, it doesn’t make any sense.... and who is the noc yours talking about? Are there actual maps with sprites?

Sorry, but I’d have to agree with the other guys you tried to upload it to, I wouldn’t be able to play this for fear of an epileptic fit.

Sorry, I’m not trying to be mean, but it just doesn’t make sense to me as a game!

Tried it but couldn't play it for more than 5 minutes.
It just can't be played in any way and I have no idea how anyone can even stare at it (non-stop) for more than 1 minute.
I had to pause and look away several times because there is so much going on there, yet nothing of it makes any sense for my eyes.

While it's an interesting idea and I sort of like abstract games, it's also very tiring and painful for the eyes and might trigger bad headaches too after a while.
I suggest to remake the graphics into something less painful to look at.

How about reverting back all the resources you modified into default RTP (like they were originally) and show us what will happen to this game? Pretty damn sure people will play it without problems if you do that.
