Has any body tried running RPG2K3/MV on a windows tablet?

Hmm. It might work. It also might end up a bit slow.

I can say from experience that working with RM on a tablet is hard, although finger-painting maps can be fun. It would probably be doable for just running the editor, but I'm thinking playtests would be very slow.

Note: I only have experience with MV. 2k3, I have no idea about the results. I could test it, but having Steam running is bound to be a negative performance impact, though.

Thanks for the reply. Steam is a pain. Maybe I should save up for a surface pro - they run on an i5 processor and have plenty of RAM.

I got my tablet from a brand called Onda. Definitely a solid tablet, and cheaper than common North American brands I've seen. There is one catch (maybe two, depending on your preferences), though. It comes with Windows 8.1 with Bing, and in order to set English on it, you need to upgrade Windows to Professional, or buy a new copy of Windows. Upgrading would probably also require access to someone that can read Chinese.  :p

You can get an 9" onda dual boot windows 10/android in English over here in the UK for about £80 (about $104 US).

Would rather get a 10" screen though.

As for steam I got my RM2K3 real cheap in a steam sale so I could always buy a non steam version with a standard installer.

Our latest feature is an interview with... me?!

People4_2 (Capelet off and on) added!

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
one bad plugin combo later and one of my followers is moonwalking off the screen on his own... I didn't even more yet on the new map lol.
