RPG Maker Forums

I remember Touch and I discussed it once, that having more female presence in staff could help conflict resolution in moderation as it seemed people reacted better to disciplinary action from females due to their more assertive approach to things and that it would help level the general misogyny online.

What do you think? When compared to, say... 5 years ago. Would you say the internet has become a more friendly place to those people who identify themselves as female? I remember online forums before online forums started to decay, were very aggressive towards women posting on them. And RM forums were no exception.

But seeing how now, at least as far as I can see here, there's an increasing number of females involved in RM and their importance and general acceptance, is it fair to say this aspect has improved? Has YOUR experience as a female changed noticeable? Are you still afraid of being stereotyped?

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
