Has the license for Game Character Hub been extended so we can use it with commercial MV games?

GCH has gone on sale recently and I would like to pick it up since I'm not the greatest at pixelart.  However I'm a little curious as to if we're allowed to use it in a commercial MV project.  People do say that you can use it with any RPG Maker, but the list of makers on the store pages doesn't include MV.  This could just be because MV is new and they haven't updated the Steam description yet, but I would like to make sure.

My understanding of GCH is that you can use it with any graphics even custom one or DLC ones compatible (I for instance use it with PV Games resources)

It comes indeed with some VX ACE and some XP graphics but as per normal rtp usage rules, you need to own the corresponding maker to use corresponding resources.

For me, GCH is not a drawing programming per se, it should be used with existing graphics for editing.

Be aware that GCH currently does not have any MV resources in it.

But I'm still allowed to use it for MV projects, correct?  I'm don't know much about how the software actually works but is would imagine there would be a way to change the resolution of the graphics so they can support MV.

TheGamedawg, please avoid double posting, as it is against the forum rules. You can review our forum rules here. Thank you.

You can use any resource with GCH that you have the licence to edit them with.

This specifically means that you can only use the included XP-RTP-Sprites if you own RMXP - and similiar, if you own RMMV you can edit it's sprites with GCH - but you have to setup the files yourself for use in GCH, because as far as I know there is not yet a preset for MV sprites.

Alright, thanks a lot!  And sorry about the double post, I think I accidentally clicked "Post" twice or something.

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
one bad plugin combo later and one of my followers is moonwalking off the screen on his own... I didn't even more yet on the new map lol.
time for a new avatar :)
