So, I would like info on how to make 2 items that can be equipped but when equipped at the same time, gives the user a bonus effect?

For example;

Special Amulet - Left Piece

+150% Attack

Special Amulet - Right Piece

+150% Magic

Upon equipping both, is it possible to either:

- Remove both items and re-equip a new item

OR

- Give bonus effects to the player if both are equipped or then remove it

OR

- Change the effects of the items temporarily whilst the items are equipped

(Although you could kinda do this with the 2nd option, just put in the notes "Second Form" or "First Form")

Also, is it possible to do this WITHOUT scripts?

You could possibly do that without scripts, but you'll be using a huge common event in case you have many possible combinations

Oh, no. I only plan on doing 2-piece combinations. I probably will make separate common events.

Do you have a guide on how to do something like that?

I don't mean multi part combinations, I mean the amount of combinations possible... Like Ring A and Ring B forms 1 combination, and Ring C and Ring D is another combination and so on...

I probably will make separate common events.
Which would be inefficient in terms of processing as then you'd have lots of common events running under normal conditions...

I would just rely on a script (like Hime's equip events) to run the common event for that equipment

I might try out the script, thanks for the answer!

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
