Have an idea for a Boss mechanic

So in my game, there is a boss that is a world renowned Wrestler and you end up fighting him.

The team and I have been thinking about this mechanic that makes him feel like a wrestler even more but the problem is execution, this is how his mechanic works. Every time he downs one of your party members, the crowd goes wild and starts cheering in the background and that grants him a buff called: "Crowd Pleaser" which makes him stronger but cocky so his strength increases but his defense decreases. the only problem I am having is trying to get the mechanic running, I tried doing it on the Troop Conditions but once one of them is down the condition repeats constantly and ends up freezing the battle with the crowd going wild and him reapplying the buff. Anyone have any ideas how to make this mechanic work? Been boggling about this for 2 days now.

This should fix your issue.

Hmm, I constructed it the same way as you instructed but it doesn't seem to proc, I might be missing something here, do I put this in Troop Conditions or in Common Events?

Does it look like this? I'm using XP but it'll look the same in Vx Ace.

Ah that screenshot makes things much simpler, I will test it once I am out of work and let you know.
