Hello everyone!

I have run into an issue with my MZ game where if I use a plug in to launch the game at full screen the window will automatically revert back to windowed mode.

I noticed it first when Visustella's options plug in tried to launch my game in full screen, but even a simple plug in such as this doesn't work.

I have run into this issue on two different computers (haven't tested more) one windows, and one Mac. I think because there is nothing shared between the two computers it is safe to say that the issue has something to do with the engine?

This doesn't just happen with my game, it happens with every blank project I create now.

Is there something I could try to replace somewhere in the engine files or something? Maybe something got corrupted somehow? I think I remember seeing somewhere once that rpgmaker saves like a settings profile for all RM games, how could I find that? Would deleting/replacing that maybe work?

does your fullscreen work if you enter it after the game has started?
if that is also broken it is most likely that your editor and its default settings were damaged and need to be reinstalled.

if you can enter fullscreen manually, then it's most likely that you did something wrong with the automatic start in fullscreen, and we need more info on what you did to help.

I can enter full screen manually once the game is launched.

The automatic full screen plug in I used is just one line:
Graphics._requestFullScreen();

The Visustella options plug in remembers if the game is full screen or windowed when the game closes, I'm not sure how it executes it's full screen command but I imagine it works fairly similar.

When Visustella would try to run the game full screen, or that other plug in would run on launch, the game starts fullscreen and then immediately reverts back to windowed.

Sorry about double posting but I tried reinstalling the engine (I'm using the steam version) but it seems like the issue still occurs.

To be clear, the issue happens on two different computers, different projects, and by using different plug ins.

EDIT: Solution found over here.

I've got good news and bad news. The good news is, there aren't any bad news to report. The bad news is, there aren't any good news to report.

Or as others say, yesterday was uneventful.

I am curious that can you "understand/get the point" about what does this place do generally?

Ever notice that villains can reform and become better people, but heroes can only ever die... or live long enough to see themselves become villains?

Isn't that interesting?
