I'm not sure if the problem is on my end or not.  But lately this forum just isn't working correctly for me.

For example:

When I go to quote someone often times nothing happens at all when I push the button.  And then when something does happen, the quote box remains empty.

Is anyone else having similar issues or is it just me?

Ok thank you for responding Tai_MT.

I was worried it was on my end and maybe I had a virus or something.  So it's comforting to know I'm not the only one.

I don't have that issue - I just klicked quote and then write this.

It might be that the problem only happens with a specific browser version, so please report which browser you're using.

Mine is Fireforx 25.0 and it works in this post.

Do you use any form of script blocking, or have you turned javascript off?

To Galenmereth:

I'm not aware that I'm using any script blocking or that I turned javascript off.

How would I go about checking those things?

To Andar:

I did recently upgrade my Internet Explorer.  Do you think that might be the problem?

Quoting seems to be working for me. I'm using Chrome Ver. 7 I think.

I'm using Internet Explorer 11.

I did notice an option to install Java into Windows Explorer.  Do you think that might help?

It's strange it was working fine then all of a sudden not.

Java is not required for most websites; it's a plugin like Flash, basically. But javascript is used in most modern webapps. I don't use IE myself, but I found this while googling:

http://support.microsoft.com/gp/howtoscript

You could follow that to see if enabling javascript specifically for this site helps. I would nonetheless advise you not to use IE and switch to Chrome or Firefox instead, but if you want to (or have to) use it, that might help you out :)

I switched to Google Chrome and that has fixed my problems just like everyone said.

Thank you very much for the help.  Not being able to use the forum functions was driving me nuts.

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such?
