RMMV Having some issues with YEP Synthesis

So I recently downloaded Yanfly's Synthesis plugin, and once I used it it seemed not to show up at all even after I used the plugin command. Any idea's how I should be using it since I'm completely out of ideas other than using a different plugin.

plugin parameters do you have show/enable/auto place all true?
the notetags from this plugin arnt that well explained.

goes on every item that can be crafted. this is the recipe to craft them.

the other notetags <Item Recipe: x> <Weapon Recipe: x> <Armor Recipe: x>
go on different items (i use key item: books).
getting this item unlocks crafting everything listed on its notetags.

the synth option doesnt show up in menu until you have a recipe item teaching you a working recipe.
if you just load up and have no items on you, you wont see a synth option
