So, I have two guards that block a bridge, as so:

So, you speak to one of them, they tell you that you must fight to pass, and then once you win, they move out of the way, like so:

However, when you leave and return to the forest by going to another map, or leaving the save and returning, they end up like this:

I'm not using Erase Event or anything, so I have no idea why this is happening. Here're the event pages for one of the guards, since both guards' pages are both identical, only the move routes are reversed:

It's the same as page 1, only the "I apologise, but..." dialogue is gone and its condition is on Control Switch A.

So, yeah, does anyone know what's happening? Do I have to put page 3 on parallel process or something...?

It's because you've changed the page that's active so they face a different direction, but when a map is loaded, the events will always go back to their original position.


This will help you:





In the move routes for the guards, add a Script call at the end, and put the following into the script call:

Code:
this.savePos();



This will make it remember where the events are at the end of their move routes, and next time the map is loaded, they'll be moved to that location.

No worries, because I found that plugin's VX Ace equivalent by you, so thanks so much!! That works like a charm!  :D

Oh, sorry.  I just saw the MV under your avatar.


This is the Ace version.  Instead of this.savePos() in the script call, use save_pos
