I have seen people use male RTP characters as female ones, whether accidentally or on purpose. It is entirely possible, especially if you only see the face in those small faceboxes!

I think with most animals it's difficulty to tell a gender if you place actual "things" to human equivalent places. Which then likely would be censored anyway by clothing.


But really, often such characters got "boobs" to indicate they are female.

I think it's done to not show eight of those things like with female dogs or cats. You know, TV airing.
