I know I saw a tutorial, somewhere, about how to change multiple tiles at once. (It probably had to do with region IDs.) Does anyone remember such an animal? The reason I ask is because I'd like to be able to quickly replace long grass with another tile. Any help is appreciated, naturally.

You could create a new tileset with that tile replaced in the tileset graphic, and use the "Change tileset" event command, which won't require a script.

I don't think I need to go to that extreme; using region IDs should work.

It's cleaner the way Pikachu described. That's because your grass might be an autotile and you would have to go through all 47 variations of it if you were to manually replace it.

It depends a lot on what exactly you want to do - the script you've mentioned is probably Tsukihime's Tile swap script, but every way to change the map has its own limitations, including the scripts (there are three different map tile change scripts I know of, each having different strength and limitations, in addition to using the tileset change option or to use event graphics to change the map.

Without more details, we can't tell which option would be best for your game.

It's pretty simple (I hope): when the player uses a sickle on the grass, the tile changes and they receive some fodder.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
