I'm new to this site, but spent the last few days looking at the resources you guys provide, plugins especially.
I'm working on a retro-looking (think 80s pc games) RPG with a Modern-Lovecraftian theme.
I'm doing all the graphic assets by myself (that battle backdrop is just a placeholder!) but
I need some js script magic help. For the battle I envision something like Heart Based HP/ Sanity(MP) Gauge represented by Words instead of bar/number?
Like this (whipped something on Photoshop)
Maybe there is already a plugin to help me achieve that?

Quick tip for any other ametuer pixel artists! When trying to create a colour palette, enabling Antialiasing can speed up the process of creating different shades! Just place your lightest colour and your darkest colour next to each other, select both pixels, and stretch it out!
