I noticed there are roof's in the tileset, is it possible to place the roof on top of another? For example place it so the roof does not notice it and does not create edges?

I hope this makes sense.

You would need to use shift mapping, and/or mapping in a different part of the editor and copy/pasting it.  There are tutorials on those techniques.

If you follow the link to the "starting point" in my signature, one of the tutorials I linked there is a tutorial on "shift-click-mapping", that is probably the one Shaz mentioned above.

And it is one of the most important things to know about mapping.

With shift mapping, when I do higher level cliffs for example on another map, I select the the part on the map I want to copy, is there any way to make the outside of what I made transparent when I do the shift mapping? I usually have to use grass, but I always find that grass splodges over my map and makes me have to fix other parts below the cliff. I've tried using the transparent block, but the shift mapping just includes the transparent block with it. Any ideas?

@Kelphy...

Maybe have the roof you want to copy created on another, empty map, and copy from that..?

It's satisfying to master the usage of a hard plugin, then making it do what you want. ( o w o)!!
I'll be redesigning some of the main characters from my many wip stories :kaohi:

gotta love when a plugin you thought had nothing to do with why something else wasn't working winds up being the issue...
