hey everyone, just wanted to make a new post since I went MIA for a while. The holidays got really busy for me and then I had to find a new job. So needless to say, I vanished for a bit and have been neglecting my game :(

It's gonna be a struggle relearning a lot of stuff but I'm still excited to get back to it! Glad to be back!

Welcome back! Also, love the Dragon Warrior IV reference. That series (along with the original FF of course) actually got me into gamedev. That fight was a PAIN!

Glad you're back. Keep at it. As Steve Smith is famous for saying, "We're all in this together." and "Keep your stick on the ice!"

I love it when people recognize it! :D

Glad to meet another DQ enthusiast! My first exposure to the series (and Esterk/Estark) was in Dragon Warrior Monsters for the Game Boy Color, which I instantly fell in love with. DQ is just such a great series overall!

Sadly, I haven't actually played all the way through DQ4. I'm a big fan of the first three, though. DQ3 solo runs are really fun at least until you have to grind for seeds. If my avatar didn't give it away already, though, I'm also a fan of the series. I'll have to see about starting up a new game of DQ4.

Yeah, I really have the urge to go back and play some of the old school ones now too, haha. I really hope they bring the newest one to to the West so I can play it.

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
