RPG Maker Forums

Hello all, I'm UltimaCJ.  As you can see by my posts, I'm not a huge poster but I do read forums from time to time.

About me:  I've always been a gamer at heart and my first system when i was 5 was an Atari 5200 and then Nintendo.  Yes I was on the "Nintendo" side not "Sega" side, sorry Sonic fans!  I  hail from the land of non-girl gamers (or if they're out there they hide very well) in PCB, FL.  I play various games genres as well as the real thing: aka Dungeons and Dragons every week at our local comic book store. I enjoy about every genre of video games, but of course RPG's are prob my favorite.  My favorite multiplayer games are prob Smash Bros series & the Mario Kart Series (though that game series has been seriously sissiefied down big time since Double Dash came out!).

I heard about RPG Maker from a friend and decided to purchase it when it was on sale and give it a shot.  I've tried various game making programs but none them truly fit, they were either too complex or not very user friendly.  I'm glad to say I found RPG Maker as I'm just about done with my first project "Destiny of a Wizard", I'm still tweaking out a few tilesets but if you like to check it out, my project demo is available for play on the Steam Workshop,  There is also a post on about my project on the development forums section.  I'm hoping soon I'll get the full version on a few 3rd party sites as well as Steam Greenlit!  You can check out the demo here:  http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=282470008

The "casual" game i still play is Final Fantasy XI online, it's still enjoyable and I've played there on and off and there's nothing like a good Skype session with a bunch of mates MMOing it up!  I've occasionally upload videos of various runs we do for entertainment purposes as well as helping others out:  https://www.youtube.com/user/ultimacj

As I said before I'm a gamer and collector at that!

Systems owned:  NES, SNES, Gameboy, Gameboy Advance, Gameboy Advance SP, Game Gear, Sega DreamCast, Atari 5200, Sega Saturn, PS1, PS2, Xbox, Wii, Nintendo DS, Nintendo DS Lite, & Nintendo 3DS XL,  I plan to get a PS3 down the road whenever Persona V comes to lite.
