Hey, I'm Madeline. I've got about 60 hours in RPG Maker MV, and I'm working on my second game.Currently I'm working on making the battle system fun and not just functional.

I'm... very gay and will probably be making a lot of yuri games.

I'm a lover of JRPGS and roguelikes. I haven't actually PLAYED many RPGmaker games so I'd appreciate recommendations.

I can recommend one for sure. It is a game by a very dear friend, @Plueschkatze , and will be available later this month. The game is called, Ceress and Orea. Absolutely wonderful story and I think you'll enjoy it very much.

I noticed you said you were working on your second game. Would you have a link to the first? I would love to check it out!

I wish you luck with your projects. Always nice to see new and energetic people getting involved here. It is a wonderful community and I'm sure you'll fit right in.

If you have a Nintendo 3DS, give my RPG Downfall FES a try on RPG Maker Fes Player. It was my first RPG and, when Miiverse was still a thing, it actually got a lot of praise from players. The thing people like the most from it was that the battles were hard, but balanced, something a lot of Fes made RPGs lacked at the time I had released mine.

It's... finished in a sense and a bit broken in another. If you if you choose sigrun first, dani next, and then alexandra, then everything works. Otherwise, glitches. I'm probably going to eventually fix that stuff but right now I just.. want to do anything else.

I'll give it a look, and no worries! You can't define yourself by your first piece, and they are always bound to be full of glitches. I definitely recommend taking some time to explore other possibilities. Maybe come back later and fix them with a new knowledge under your belt, reboot it entirely, or maybe never come back to it and just let it stand as a great experience in getting your feet wet. There are no bad projects, just learning experiences.
