RPG Maker Forums
Hello everybody!
This is my first time on this forum (and first time, when I'm on english forum) and I should write something about me, right?
I'm Anna a.k.a BeastKonoha (when I'm in internet, I always use BeastKonoha than Anna), and as you see, I'm from Poland. Beautiful country with one little problem - english is not my native langluage, so if you'll have problem with my posts - please forgive me xD.
I've started interesting RPG Maker games since 2011-2012. But my first games weren't a typical fantasy rpg's but a horror games (concretely - Ib). I couldn't believe, that simple pixel could scared me (yeah I know, that was silly xD), but I liked it. So I searched for another games and somehow I found RPG Maker. I really wanted try to do game in this program, so I was learning in RPG Maker XP. And because I did it, now I don't have problems with RPG Maker VX Ace. (except scripts. O My Celestia, scripts. It's still a black magic for me, but I hope that someday FINALLY I'll learn how to write/use correctly scripts).
For now, I'm studying A Digital Graphic and Game Developer on University C:. (and if you'll thinks it's strange that someone on IT studies doesn't know about programming... well, I've never thought about studying IT, I always thought about art school, or humanistics, but never about science studying xD).
My hobbies and interesting: manga&anime (and yaoi hating xD), comics, literature, and of course games. I prefer RPGs, strategies, indie and oldschool games. My least favorite games: shooter. Sorry, it doesn't something for me ^^'.

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
one bad plugin combo later and one of my followers is moonwalking off the screen on his own... I didn't even more yet on the new map lol.
